General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for the Use of the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher Services

Effective from: November 18, 2024

1. Introductory Provisions

1.1. These General Terms and Conditions for the use of the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher services (hereinafter referred to as "GTC E-learning") aim to regulate the conditions for accessing and using services provided through the E-learning Platform and the AI Teacher.

1.2.1. The operator of the E-learning Platform:

  • Company Name: SkillDict Zrt.

1.2.2. The operator of the AI Teacher:

  • Company Name: Aidia ApS

  • Headquarters: Nøddehaven 4, 3500 Værløse, Denmark

  • Company Registration Number: CVR 43598171

  • Tax Number: DK43598171

1.3. Client:
The Magyar Iskola Kft. acts as the client of the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher services. It provides access to these services for its own clients or partners. The client's responsibilities include:

  • Informing their customers about the platform's use,

  • Developing digital content on the E-learning Platform,

  • Coordinating subscriptions and registrations with the platform.

1.4. User:
A natural or legal person who uses the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher services via access provided by the client.

1.5. These GTC are binding for all users of the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher services.

2. Description of Services

2.1. The E-learning Platform offers digital learning materials, proficiency tests, and other educational services to support users in language learning and skill development. The AI Teacher is a system for developing verbal skills, powered by AI based on multiple language models.

2.1.1. Services available on the E-learning Platform include:

  • Access to thematic and level-based digital learning materials,

  • Proficiency tests to measure progress in language learning.

2.1.2. Services available with the AI Teacher include:

  • Roleplays, quizzes, various conversation topics, panel discussions, and daily activities,

  • Pronunciation practice and dictionary use.

2.2. Subscription and Registration

  • Access to the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher, as well as learning materials, requires a valid subscription and registration.

  • Subscription packages can be selected based on details available on the website, and access is manually activated during the working hours of Magyar Iskola Kft.

2.3. Free Access to Proficiency Tests

  • Students enrolled in online courses are entitled to free access to proficiency tests, which are not included in subscription packages.

  • Access to tests requires valid registration, provided by the administration of Magyar Iskola Kft.

3. User Accounts

3.1. Users are responsible for the accuracy of the data provided during registration.
3.2. User accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3.3. Magyar Iskola Kft. reserves the right to delete accounts that violate these GTC.

4. Payment Terms and Subscriptions

4.1. Subscription Packages
Magyar Iskola Kft. offers subscription packages through the E-learning Platform and AI Teacher services, available at prices and conditions listed on the website.

4.2. Subscription Activation
4.2.1. Subscriptions are activated manually during the working hours of Magyar Iskola Kft.
4.2.2. Users receive a confirmation email with the exact activation date and access details.

4.3. Subscription Period
Subscriptions become valid from the moment of manual activation. Subscription periods do not accumulate if purchased at different times. Each subscription period always starts from the activation date of the most recently purchased subscription and ends on its predetermined expiry date, regardless of overlapping periods or previous subscriptions.

4.4. Subscription Renewal

  • Subscription fees apply for the entire subscription period.

  • Subscriptions do not renew automatically; new packages must be purchased as separate transactions.

5. Cancellation, Right of Withdrawal, and Refund Policies

5.1. Right of Withdrawal
Users are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal, allowing them to cancel their subscription or purchase of digital content without providing a reason, if the service has not yet commenced.

5.2. Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal
5.2.1. The service is considered commenced upon the activation of the subscription. Users acknowledge that after activation, the 14-day right of withdrawal is no longer applicable, in accordance with Article 29 (1) m) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II. 26.).

5.2.2. Users are not entitled to withdraw if:

  • Access to digital content has been activated manually or automatically, and

  • The user has previously accepted GTC, which includes conditions on the exclusion of the right of withdrawal.

5.3. Exercising the Right of Withdrawal Before Activation
5.3.1. If activation has not yet occurred, users can express their intention to withdraw in writing via email to: info@hlschool.hu.

5.3.2. The withdrawal notice must include the user’s name, contact information, and a clear statement of intent.

5.4. Refund Policies
5.4.1. Full refunds are provided for withdrawals made before activation.
5.4.2. No partial or prorated refunds are available after activation.
5.4.3. Users can cancel their subscription at any time during the subscription period, but the service remains accessible until the end of the subscription term.

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1. Magyar Iskola Kft. does not guarantee the knowledge acquired by users.
6.2. Liability for technical errors is limited, but the service provider will make all efforts to resolve them.

7. Copyrights

7.1. The digital content of the E-learning Platform is protected by copyright.
7.2. Reproduction, distribution, or transfer of content to third parties is prohibited.

​

8. Data Protection

8.1. Data processing is governed by the Privacy Policy.
8.2. Users’ personal data is processed solely to the extent necessary for providing the service.

9. Final Provisions

9.1. Magyar Iskola Kft. reserves the right to amend GTC, with the latest version published on the platform.
9.2. These GTC are governed by the laws of Hungary.
